I can't connect with Remote Desktop

Post by RayN »

Hi! New user here.

I just got 3 new ACEMAGIC AK1 PLUS RGB 12th Alder Laker N95 Mini PC × 3 Intel 12th Gen N95 / 16GB + 512GB SSD boxes and I want to normally connect to them with Remote Desktop. When I try I get this error:
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Window Title]
Remote Desktop Connection

[Content]
A user account restriction (for example, a time-of-day restriction) is preventing you from logging on. For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support.

Error code: 0xc07
Extended error code: 0x0
Timestamp (UTC): 11/03/23 04:22:31 PM

Press Ctrl+C to copy.
------------------------------------------------------------
I setup my user with no password, it signs in normally when I start the machine, and try to connect but it always gives me this error.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help!

Never mind! I found a solution:
---------------------------------------------------------------
Click the "Start" menu, click the "Run" command.

In the open Run dialog box, enter "secpol.msc" and click "OK" to open the local security settings.

In the console tree window on the left, expand "Local Policies" - "Security Options"

In the right window, double-click to open the "Accounts: Local accounts with blank passwords only allow console logins" item.

Enter the "Local Security Settings" tab interface, select "Disabled", and click "OK" to save the changes.
---------------------------------------------------------------

Just in case someone else has this problem!

Thank you so much for the information you shared!
I think this may be due to the security default settings of the Windows system.
