I've tried connecting several different bluetooth headphones and speakers to my AK2, but the signal is extremely weak. The connection is garbled when only 3-4 feet away, and even not 100% if I move the speaker or headphones within inches. I've checked and resintalled all the drivers and they're current and not the problem.
I did have this AK2 open to replace the SSD last year so I'm thinking there might be an antenna wire inside that is either disconnected or not in the right place. Does anyone have a picture of what the bluetooth antenna wire looks like and where it connects to the motherboard?
Thanks!

Re: Bluetooth connec!!tion are weak
Can you try turning off wifi and seeing if the issues persist? the 2.4ghz band can cause massive issues with Bluetooth devices, even on "higher end" devices (my work Macbook has this issue)
If quality improves with Wifi off. you will want to force your PC to connect to the 5ghz network if possible.

If the router has dual frequency bands, you can choose not to combine the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequency bands, which makes it easier to connect to the 5Ghz WiFi frequency band.

Barry, do you know if this unit has the option in device manager to force it to run at 5ghz? I know some wireless adapters do, but I'm not sure which one is included on this unit.
They might be able to "force" the unit to run at 5ghz without having to. Change the entire network.

In the Device Manager, open the properties of the WiFi driver and change it to IEEE 802.11a/n/ac
