pc set up problem
pc set up problem
hello and I just got this mini pc thinking it would be better that the machine I have for my school and while I'm trying to set it up the device gets stuck at the pin input part of the account set up proses and even if i leave it over night it remains the same and just shows the same thing the spinning wheel of dots saying (just a moment...). what can i do i have already tried to turn it on and off and a few other things.

If it's happening on the initial setup, I suggest disconnecting the unit from your internet, whether that's by removing the LAN cable or shutting off your WiFi source, then force a shutdown of the unit by pressing and holding the power button in until the unit shuts off (usually 3-5 seconds). When you start the unit back up it will continue with the setup where it left off, but because you no longer have the internet it won't be stuck on that PIN setup and it should give you the option to skip it. You can then set up the PIN at a later time.

Though it may be a little different than what you're seeing, try disconnecting your internet first, as shown in the video below. This might cause it to exit the spinning wheel state and allow you to skip that step. If this works, there's no need to force a shutdown. The forced shutdown should only be needed when there's no solution for exiting/skipping the problem, like was possible in the video example below.
