Hi everybody,
I got an AM06 Pro today and I have some issues. I upgradet the RAM to 32GB and ever since I am having stability issues. I get CRC errors, Windows or USB Sticks not booting etc. I bought this RAM-Kit: CMSX32GX4M2A3000C18 (CORSAIR Vengeance - DDR4 - 32 GB: 2 x 16 GB - SO DIMM 260-PIN - 3000 MHz / PC4-24000 - CL18 - 1.2 V). Is it somehow the wrong RAM or something? What would be a better fit for the AM06 Pro (32GB needed)?
Another issue I have: I noticed, that I have a pretty old BIOS version on the MiniPC (AR5000-MI 0.22 x64 from 10/26/2022). Is there a way to get a BIOS Update for the AM06 Pro? Maybe even one that might solve my RAM issue?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards.

Re: RAM issues and BIOS Update
They don't update their BIOSes on a regular basis like motherboard manufacturers. They tend to only do so if an issue is discovered or there is something that needs to be updated. It's likely that the BIOS it has is the most recent.
As far as the RAM issue, that RAM should work without issue, as far as I know. Hopefully barry777 or the admin will be able to help.

Re: RAM issues and BIOS Update
Hmm, okay. Any recommendations? Specific clock speeds and/or timings (CAS latency etc.) I should look for?
Also, IS there a more recent BIOS update for the AM06 Pro or am I on the latest version?

Re: RAM issues and BIOS Update
piratefish0815,
I don't know if you're still looking into RAM for your AM06 Pro, but I can confirm that TEAM GROUP RAM works perfectly in it. Specifically, TED416G3200C22-SBK (two 16GB modules). I originally got it late last year for my AMR5, which also has the Ryzen 5 5600U, but when I got my AM06 Pro today I swapped the 16GB RAM it came with for the 32GB TEAM GROUP RAM in my AMR5. It's been working perfectly all day.
This is what I bought...

Hi!
I‘ve only seen your reply just now. I appreciate your effort.
I ended up buying a G.Skill Ripjaws 3200MHz CL 18 Kit. Specifically the F4-3200C18D-32GRS (https://www.gskill.com/product/2/197/15 ... C18D-32GRS).
It solved the weird issues I had before with the other RAM kit and has been perfectly solid ever since. I can wholeheartedly recommend this RAM kit!
