I am hoping you can help me.
First, background - my parents, who are aged are now realizing their huge library of home movies are at risk - on literal film (from the 50's), VHS, and even the few that they tried to convert to DVD are in danger. I took their collection and had it all converted digitally into MP4 files. I purchased your T8/Wintel machine off of Amazon a couple of days ago (with a 4TB drive and IR remote) to provide them with an outlet to be able to watch those movies that they so cherished (it is a gift for their 40th Anniversary at the end of August). I got everything in and set it up with KODI 18.9 and have made individual NFO files on the drive pertaining to each movie to ensure all information is scraped and they could enjoy their memories. There are no add-ons or enhancements to KODI beyond the basic system and the CONFLUENCE skin that they could work on their own.
To ensure that it remains true and easy for KODI, I also installed Inteset Systems SECURE LOCKDOWN (a locked, "kiosk" system) that ensured that the system would only boot into KODI and remove the capability of doing anything beyond it (without a password).
I recognized a limited "purpose built" machine like yours would be good for KODI - to date, there is nothing more than Windows 10 Pro that is included (other than it's updates), a copy of KODI 19.8, and Teamviewer Remote (so I can fix anything without having to drive over). Everything seems to work fine for several hours - but then, for no reason, it locks up with nothing appearing in the logs. Note that this seems to happen while I am testing it on an AR receiver that when your box loses focus, seems to crash and completely become responsive to the point that I have to hard reset it.
Researching on the internet, I have found posts that this might (possibly) be related to the INTGFX driver - yours is almost four years old and I did get error messages in the logs about it not being found. However, even after I went to Intel and updated it to the latest version for Cherry Trail, the issue still exists. Beyond that, while I watch PERFMON and disable everything in MSCONFIG (other than Windows Services) the system seems to run at about 39% CPU and less than 50% RAM - yet still... it locks up after a few hours.
I really need your help in figuring this out - if i can't in the next week or so I will have to return it to Amazon as broken and find another solution. Please let me know what you need to assess the issue.
Thanks!

The computer locks up because it enters the sleep mode. This is a tutorial to turn off the sleep mode:
