All right, my AMR5 came with windows 11 a couple of months ago.
I installed windows 10 Pro on another ssd, but the bios key is not recognized, I should purchase another key, which I dont want as I "lose" the preinstalled win 11 key. Ever since, I left it with its win 11 key, at least temporarily and used some tweaks to make it look as win 10...
Since then, a friend bought AMR6 recently.
He did the same thing, installed win 10 and the key was automatically recognized from BIOS (as this is the usual case in all/most modern computers with preinstalled windows).
Why the AMR5 key is not recognized?
Any ideas?
Has anyone else tried to downgrade AMR5 to Windows 10 with its included bios key?

Re: Windows 10 on AMR5
Thanks barry777, win 11 is activated just fine, win 10 does not activate with the bios key, in my amr5.
Asking if any one else has tried such downgrade perhaps.

If you're looking to use Windows 10 instead of Windows 11, I would try installing Windows 10 on the original drive, then see if it Activates when you connect to the net and sign into your Microsoft account. If it does, you could then install it on the new drive and see if Activates on that.
I'd be sure to be signed into a Microsoft account with your Windows 11 install prior to doing this so that the digital certificate is not only recorded on Microsoft's servers for your AMR5, but on your Microsoft account as well.

Edit:
I just tried, firstly signed in into win 11 normally, then re-inserted the win 10 pro ssd and signed in into it, but it did not work.
No digital licence in your account etc. Activation troubleshooter also failed. I reverted back to the activated win 11 ssd.
