Monitor Flickering

Hello,

I sent an email to support as well as a chat request, several days ago, no response yet. When connecting this machine to a VGA monitor via DP->VGA adapter, I get severe interference/flickering. I've tested the adapters on other machines with no problems, as well as the monitor. I tried connecting the MiniPC to the monitor via HDMI->DVI cable, but got no signal at all. Not sure if this is a defective system, please advise.

I usually have issues with cables that convert one connector type to another. That's not a mini PC thing, just a computer thing.

When connecting the DP connection to the VGA port, do you notice the issue when on the boot, BIOS, or Windows screen? Windows uses different drivers than BIOS, so one might be different from another.

I take it your monitor is old, only offering VGA and DVI connectors? Do you have a monitor you can plug the mini PC into, with a straight HDMI-to-HDMI or DP-to-DP connection? That way, you can see if the plug is okay?

We have tested the cable with DP interface or HDMI interface at both ends and it is normal. Regarding the conversion of DP to VGA and HDMI to DVI cables, we are contacting the manufacturer to verify the situation.

We have verified the supplier, the reason is that there is no relevant adapter on the motherboard, and IC needs to be added, and conversion is not supported at present; you can use a direct connection DP cable or a direct connection HDMI cable to connect to the device.
