GK3PLUS N97 How to increase power and performance

Post by varignet »

Hi,

My GK3PLUS N97 runs well and cool. Even under full load, it doesn't surpass 68C.
However, it's not as powerful as my other N97 systems, with an average 10% slower 3DMARK CPU and GPU results.

Is there a way to increase TDP let's say to 15W and make it faster? I'm happy to push the temps to 80-90C.

I'll post my bios settings next.

Perhaps it'll need a BIOS update.

Perhaps it'll need a BIOS update.

1. Open Settings → Power, and switch the power mode to "Best Performance".
2. Download and install [Cinebench R23]and [Core Temp].
3. Run the multi-core test in Cinebench R23, and use Core Temp to monitor power consumption. During the test, power consumption can reach up to 15W.

Note:
The CPU frequency dynamically adjusts based on workload, so it may be difficult to achieve maximum power consumption or turbo boost speed during regular use.
