Important Notice: Issues with Manual Updates to Windows 11 Version 24H2

Post by barry777 »

Recently, some users who manually updated to Windows 11 Version 24H2 have reported system functionality issues.

Known Issues
1. Task Manager Display Errors: Task Manager may incorrectly show zero applications or processes after the update.
2. Blue Screen Errors: Compatibility issues with certain drivers (e.g., Voicemeeter and Intel SST) may cause blue screen crashes.
3. Unresponsive Applications: Some applications, such as secure exam browsers, camera-related software, and certain games, may fail to function properly.
4. Installation Failures: Some devices may encounter blue screen errors during the update process, preventing installation from completing.

Recommended Solutions
1. Delay Updating: If your current system is stable, we recommend waiting for Microsoft to release patches addressing these issues before updating.
2. Rollback System: If issues are severe, use the “Settings > System > Recovery” option to roll back to the previous version.

Important Notes
If you choose to update, please back up important data beforehand to avoid accidental data loss.

To ensure system stability, we recommend postponing updates to Windows 11 Version 24H2 until further optimizations and fixes are available.
