Tank 03 4060 middle knob issue

Post by Sages604 »

Hi guys, I have the Tank 03 4060 model.

I'm having a problem with the middle knob, as it doesn't seem to work properly (do anything).

I downloaded CoreTemp and the TDP value in all 3 positions of the middle knob show 45w.

Silent mode should be showing something like 34w balanced should be somewhere around 38w.

45w is "beast mode" but that should change based on the position of the knob.

I've tried re-installing the driver pack but that didn't help.

I hooked up a wattage meter and if I change power plans manually through the desktop there is change in power usage, but not when I turn the knob.

Could I be missing a driver? Could this be linked to the discrete graphics driver? I have no idea but I would really like to figure this out.

Acemagic is slow to respond to me and when they respond they just say "reinstall the driver" ... what driver? There are many drivers. Which one specifically is for the middle knob?

Any ideas guys? I'm at a loss here ☹️

We used the testing software **AIDA64** to measure the CPU power consumption in three modes: 25W in Silent mode, 35W in Balanced mode, and 45W in Performance mode. Please refer to the images below for details.
