We've had a few users post here, about how they tried download drivers directly from NVIDIA, and they had issues. I believe the recommendation is to get them directly from the PC manufacturer, and avoid using the drivers from the video company, as generic drivers don't always work.

I'm glad you got it to work! Using a fresh install of Windows, you shouldn't have to manually repair the EFI Boot partition. Unless, perhaps you have other software installed on that drive? If it's not a fresh install, completely erasing and rebuilding the drive, it could have residual content left ...

You mentioned using Macrium. To confirm, did you install a fresh copy of Windows on the SSD, or did you use cloning software to copy the original image? If possible, I would recommend doing a new install of Windows.

Warm is normal, all electronics get warm when they're in use. Hot, would be bad.

If the system is new, I'd suggest going through support from the seller or the contact information on these forums, to get further assistance. Having a new system that doesn't power on is unusual.

Did you do anything to it before that happened? How long does it need to sit before it works properly?

Windows can have different performance settings depending on the power method. I'd suggest checking if you have it set to performance or efficient, as it sounds like they might be accidentally swapped.
