Re: J4125/6GB/120GB

Can you please explain this? The seller claims this has nothing to do with ACEPC, but this is an unmodified device with only a USB Logitech K400. Notes: - The box was SEALED - The product came with this hardware. That's not a bad thing, but more of a curiosity. https://i.ibb.co/SRHZG8B/qualcomm2.png...

Can you post a screenshot of network adapters in Device Manager?

Re: J4125/6GB/120GB

SMART info from CrystalDiskInfo matches the info from HWiNFO, which is not surprising. Also, why is there a 2.5" SSD in the device? It seems these boxes come with random parts - even the WiFi and Bluetooth module is Qualcomm, which is unlike many other reviews :o So, a brand new, manufacturer-s...

Re: J4125/6GB/120GB

That's the SMART output from HWiNFO, which is reliable. Will post CrystalMark SMART output as well later on, but I don't imagine it will be any different. Can post raw output if that helps (the figure is confirmed in the raw data).

Re: J4125/6GB/120GB

Guess I'll have to agree with the admin 1.4Tb of data is ALOT of data which would require another SSD/Hard drive be installed. These units do not ship with extra storage included, you have to add it yourself. If you have a unit with 1.4Tb of storage and it has anything at all on it, then the unit i...

Re: Overall experience with ACEPC mini PCs...

I bought the GK3 (also labelled as the AK3) as a basic media centre (HTPC) box and I'm mostly impressed so far. It's customisable and has a good feature set for the price. Build quality is OK, and there are some tweaks in the factory that could be applied in terms of software, but based on experienc...

Re: J4125/6GB/120GB

Here's a photo (typing from phone) of the SMART data. I've only been using this device less than a week. I was mistaken - it's not 1.3TB but 1.9TB.

Re: PC hitting 82C when doing simple google chrome browsing?

It's quite normal for the J4125 to idle at ~65°C and reach 70-80°C during moderate tasks (Chrome is now bloatware). That's debatable. I have another mini with the same processor and it operates at temps that are considerably lower. I assume the problem is the ACEPC model's poor thermal contact, as ...

Re: PC hitting 82C when doing simple google chrome browsing?

PC Bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/ACEPC-AK3-Processor-Computer-Bluetooth/dp/B0899F2N5J When booting and using Chrome, the pc fans started spinning up and down over and over, when checking the temperature, it was reaching 72-82C and hovering there. What would be the remedy for this, is the unit fa...
