Re: LINUX Install
Thanks for the reply - I already had linux-firmware installed, but was never able to see the wifi adapter until I manually downloaded that file (this seems to be a common gap with some Broadcom chipsets according to some Google hits). roddie@automation:~$ apt list | grep linux-firmware WARNING: apt ...

Re: LINUX Install
I've managed to get both Bluetooth and Wireless working on my T8 with Ubuntu Server 20.04 and Linux Mint 20 Enter these commands: wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/RPi-Distro/firmware-nonfree/master/brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt sudo cp brcmfmac43455-sdio.txt /lib/firmware/brcm/brcmfmac43455-sdio...

Re: LINUX Install
I'm wondering if you can provide the chipset or manufacturer's name for the BT and Wifi interfaces?
If so, I can try to document the driver installation process for Ubuntu and post it for the community either in the Forums or on my blog.
Thank you!

Re: LINUX Install
Mine is running normally without a driver - I wasn't reporting any issues.
I think it's a great device for running Linux!

Re: LINUX Install
I'm running Ubuntu Server 20.04 on my T8 with very few minor problems - It was just a normal install; flash the ISO to a USB, boot from USB, install. I also installed Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 the same way. The only issues I've run into: I don't see the Wifi adapter in Ubuntu Server (I didn't try with De...

GK1 vs. GK2 and availability
Hi there, I'm thinking about buying a GK1 or GK2 soon (maybe during Prime Days) and I have a couple of questions: 1) What is the difference between them? The old comparison pages seem to be gone, and the most I can find is "GK1 is module 1 and GK2 is module 2" which doesn't really help exp...

Re: AK1 - Headless, problems rebooting without HDMI
Thank you! Unfortunately, I am not running Windows on the T8 - It is running Ubuntu Server 20.04. Is there a different way to flash the BIOS?

Re: AK1 - Headless, problems rebooting without HDMI
Me, too, but it would be interesting to know why the T8 can't boot without an HDMI monitor connected to it. This was a new purchase just a few days ago.
