Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

Hello I am still awaiting a reply as I need to get this resolved ASAP so my daughter has a PC for home schooling. If I dont get a reply in the next few hours I will return the unit and order another. If I order another from your brand what are the chances it also has the same problem? I see a LOT of...

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

OK

Then why dont I just return it and get a new PC?
I want the internal SSD to work so I still have a slot for an additional SATA SSD if I need one.

I can order a new PC and return the faulty one today

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

Hello

So will this replace the internal SSD on the motherboard?
Or are you saying it will go in the upgrade socket?

Will you service people know I get this for free?

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

Hello SO you will send me a free 500G replacement drive which I can put in the PC? Or is this additional to the existing one which you have a solution for me to fix? I cant see what I need to do from your page supplied - I have already tried a reinstall. If you are sending a replacement disk how fas...

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

Hello This is just going around in circles. When the installation failed I control-C into the temporary DOS Ram Disk created and executed dispart directly. It only finds the USB disk - not the built in SSD. I opened and read the installation command file that was executed and it is having problems c...

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

OK I created the USB stick and proceeded with the process but the script encountered and error and stopped. It said it could not find a disk. I decided to run the same stick process on another AcePC I have here (my Son's) and it went through without a problem. So this suggests to me it is a hardware...

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

OK After a lot of trouble I borrowed another PC to create the USB image. The only other one I have is one of yours which has also failed - and I have buy the new one to replace it. I have followed the instructions and the script executes for a while but it then fails saying it cannot find volume WIN...

Re: New PC boots direct to BIOS screen

Hello Are you kidding me? You expect the end user to follow a process to re-install windows? By downloading a 6.8Gb file off a Google Drive? And the file cant be virus checked? Could your mother do this? I purchased this PC as I had to return another AcePC model due to failure. My daughter needs a r...

Re: AK2 booting to Aptio Setup Utility

I have exactly the same issue from a new AK3 straight out of the box from Amazon. You must be joking when you say we need to go through a Windows install to get it going! What the heck would a normal non-tech user do? I purchased this PC in good faith with the expectation it would just plug and play...
