Re: Loud Fan Noise

Likely the small RAM/SSD fan below(it's pretty buzzy), but usually that runs somewhat sparingly but it's based on load/temps. You can grab some neoprene flat washers or some small rubber orings. My SSD had FOUR layers of stickers on it for starters. I guess an old-style Netac sticker+foil spreader and a new-style Netac sticker and foil spreader. More is not always better. AM06 Pro SSD Drive temperatures

So I've got an AM06 Pro with the 5700u and a Netac 512GB Gen3*4 nvme SSD. This drive has a thick foil pad across it as a heat spreader under it's label but still runs very hot. I am seeing idle temps of 149ºF(65ºC) and so far, the drive has peaked at 176ºF(80ºC) under load. Ambient is only 73ºF(23ºC...

Do you have this option? NVIDIA Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Preferred graphics processor setting.

Re: Conducting Research on Mini PC Model Preferences

I've only set mine to 4GB because some programs don't operate that well on dynamic. So far so good though, the 780m is fairly capable.

Re: Way to increase shared max vram?

It is here: <DEL> for BIOS during startup Go to "Advanced" tab, find and enter "AMD CBS" Find "NBIO Common Options" and enter it Find "GFX Configuration" and enter it Change "iGPU Configuration" to [UMA_Specifcied] Find "UMA Frame Buffer Size&qu...
