Short update on the issue. My multi adapter worked but instead if HDMI I used VGA as the connection.

Maybe but I used Adapters and HDMI <> DisplayPort cables in the past with many different systems and displays. I also only own displays with HDMI, DVI or VGA inputs.

There must be a solution for this.

Hi and thanks for your reply. If I try to "Discover" new displays", Windows tells me that no additional displays could be found. Additionally, if I keep the DisplayPort -> HDMI cable plugged in and reboot the PC starts to play a ongoing beep sound. If I then unplug the cable it starts...
