Re: Missing Secondary SATA SSD most of the time

This may be caused by the power supply problem of the main board of the machine. You can contact our after-sales mailbox: service@iacepc.com for help. Not sure about that. It’s more like the system boots up too fast, before the ssd is powered up and ready. I think this can be fixed at the bios/firm...

Here is a link to a video I made to explain the issue.

Re: Missing Secondary SATA SSD most of the time

I have a similar situation going on with my GK2. I wiped out the EMMC on-board SSD and am only using the M.2 SSD. To successfully boot, I have to pull out the power cord and replug, then press the power button. Without unplugging, the machine would go to the built-in shell, thinking there is no syst...

Re: T6 WiFi Driver Issue

Here is an old post of mine. Forget the system images and just download WiFi drivers from the official MS driver repository. https://www.iacepc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=513&p=2426&hilit=wifi#top But honestly, those PC sticks are just too slow for Windows 10. I recommend a lightweig...

My NVMe drive arrived in the mail today. Installed it and it works. I cloned my system disk to the new NVMe and all is good.

Case closed!

Fixing the loud fan

Today my Noctua fan arrived and I am pleased to say that this fan does an wonderful job with the cooling! It is very quiet, yet very powerful. Like, CPU idle temperature went as low as 18 degrees celcius! Now, I would like to share some of my findings and ideas that I came up with. #1 As @maleko48 s...

Re: M.2 SATA or NVME?

Hello, thank you very much for your love for us. GK2 and GK3 use the same motherboard. I'm sorry I didn't explain this. According to your description, your GK2 slot supports NVME format hard drives. There is no limit to the size of the hard disk. Please purchase the hard disk according to your own ...

Re: Just maybe...remove the fan?

Cool, I am excited to see what the fan does for you. Just be sure to get the 5V USB model to make it an easy plug and play with no soldering required. Unfortunately to contact the die on such a tiny CPU, a CNC machined heatsink block would be required and the performance gained does not justify the...

Re: M.2 SATA or NVME?

I really do wish they had a database with upgrade info about each model AND system board, and accessible to us customers. It sure would make things a lot easier, and less frustrating. Totally agree with this part. Things would be so much easier if we could just get readily-available accurate info w...
