Re: AK3V (J4125) m.2 SATA SSD support issue

I'm now guessing at a failure on my NVMe card. Problem is that 2242 NVMe's are few and scarce, mostly of those available are 2280 (too long to fit, already tested, :D ). So, I'm now at the point of: should I use 70€ to test this (buying a 2242 NVMe), or should I upgrade the Sata/SSD to a bigger one ...

Yes, that I know. But the M2 connector has to be M-key only (only one notch), not M+B key (two notches).

I guess it has to be M-key only disk, M+B key won't work. Do they?

Re: AK3V (J4125) m.2 SATA SSD support issue

Nope, was brand new. But I'm using linux on the machine, would have detected it with a

Code: Select all

fdisk -l
. Disk was not seen by Linux.

Will try, if I can get my hands on it, on another NVMe disk from another project.

AK3V (J4125) USB-C

Does anyone have any idea on what purpose does the USB-C connector thats on the side of the SATA drive has? It's powered on (charged my phone there :-D), but my OS didn't detect any device when connected there....

I already ordered 128GB m.2 2242 NVME SSD, I'll move OS on it.
Did you manage to get it running? I had a NVMe 2242 240GB disk lying around, tried it, and it wasn't even detected, not by the BIOS, not by the OS running on the device.
